Drab to Fab!
The topic is Accessories and why we need them. Personally, women love to see a well-dressed man just as much as men love a stunningly-dressed woman but being dressed to the 9’s can’t be done without -what? Accessories!
Accessories for each gender?
Men, your watch, cuff links, and tie clips are the real bling and for the ladies, it’s necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Really, it’s anything with diamonds or crystals that reflect light!
This is what makes us shine. And what makes your personal space glisten? The different textures you utilize on the coffee table, the walls and the mantel. I’m not talking about the wall coverings or materials used for the tables. What I am talking about are the decorative accessories that add UMPH! to your space! They can be glass or metal: champagne, copper, a colorful swirl – curvy or rectilinear- it doesn’t matter. These are the pieces that make people take notice of that particular spot, just like you notice a tie because of it’s clip. But it didn’t stop there, right ladies? No, you notice the tie, then the shirt, the vest, the jacket, then the man himself, right? Oh yeah… Same goes for you guys, doesn’t it? The necklace, the makeup, the hair, the dress, the handbag, the shoes – you love the total package, don’t you?
Well, when you step into a room, the bling is in the lighting, the lamps, the mirrors the sculptures, the vase, the candle holders and anything metallic – sometimes the pillows and the rugs since these have recently been popping up with metallic threads in them that reflect light, too. Again, the trick is adding reflective surfaces and mixing them up with other surfaces that don’t reflect any light. It’s that little ray of light that bounces off a smooth surface that catches your attention.
Simply Ah-mazing!
So, if you want to draw attention to yourself and impress someone or just make your living room or bedroom sparkle, turn to accessories. Tastefully done, you sparkle and suddenly, you’re a winner!
