Although, now, you’ve reached a point where you continue to shop and shop, to then return items to the store because they aren’t “just right” for the look you want or the look you are trying to achieve. You search for inspiration and answers online and try again only to be met with the same result: a trip to the store to return or exchange items to see if they will work. By this time, you’ve become exhausted at the thought of making one more trip or you dread the idea of browsing “just one more time”.

You’ve probably visited a friend’s home that hired a designer and have seen what they’ve done, and you talked about what they did; your friend has probably told you  how  the designer did it, how easy they made it feel and and how it saved them a lot of time. The designer made it easy by doing all of the work and yet…you’re unsure of whether you’re ready to hire a design professional.

 You’ve thought of calling and talking with one, but are concerned about them asking you to commit to paying hourly for an indefinite amount of time.  You worry it will take hours upon hours and take up your entire budget when you just need the  styling ideas and a shopping list of what to buy and where to put it. If this is your concern, then this service is for you. How? you ask. Because  we design the space with your thoughts in mind, making it our mission to provide you with a professional design you can follow step by step, or to be inspired by.

We call this package the Designer Eye, You DIY  because you get the Designer Eye for color, textures, furnishings, and accessories, plus a list of items, including  images, and space planning for you to DIY.

 The Designer Eye, You DIY service is designed to give you the designer touch at a price you can live with. No more wondering what direction to go in or how to finish a room you’ve already started. No more wondering how much it will cost – It’s one flat rate. It doesn’t matter if you’ve already acquired some pieces. We will pull together the room’s design with you, giving you a designer concept and source list for you to do all of your own shopping. Our clients call it effortless collaboration with a curated shopping list.

Example of Designer Eye, You DIY Board

1. An initial interview will be conducted to inquire about your needs and budget. During this visit, we will tour the space and discuss your thoughts on the space and see if we are a good fit for you and your project.  We will discuss the different services we offer just to be certain that this service is right for you. We will discuss the options and make recommendations as to what we feel may work best for you. At the end of the meeting, you will be presented with a service packet for you to review, after we depart, in the privacy of your own home and decide whether or not you would like us to assist you with your project.

2. If you agree to the terms and conditions, signing of Service Agreements for design services will take place.

3. Design service – inclusive of plans and materials suggestions – begins.  We will create a design that best fits your requirements. You may follow  the  design or use it as an inspiration board to shop with. Keep in mind that this  space was designed for you: You get the designer look without the full-design cost. Throughout this process, there may be repeat visits, emails and phone calls for discussing items and for a design concept review. **Disclosure: In homes with higher ceilings and  special window configurations, as well as bedrooms with deeper mattresses and high-elevation beds, we may find that you will need a custom-made product. In the event that you require custom-made draperies or bedding, it will be suggested to you during one of our visits  and priced for you at an hourly rate in addition to your flat rate service. This way, you get your custom concept and inspiration board while securing a partial design process.

4. A Presentation Meeting where we review the design concept will take place. Upon your approval of the design concept, access to the designer ends  **If your project requires any custom products, pricing and materials  review will take place during this session.

5. **Signing of Purchase Order Agreements for any custom products takes place.

6. **Custom Product order will take place.

7. **Custom Product Delivery and Installation.

8. Walk-through with client.

9. Review of services.
